Lane

Is it running, is it reachable. Runs a pass on every open. Keeps INCIDENTS.md on the Mac mini (~/projects/_docs/INCIDENTS.md).

Routines

• None scheduled (automations folder is empty). Works on every chat open; 72h LOOKAHEAD.

Handoffs

• Runtime lane since the Oct 10 split. Config lane is Improve My Bots.
• Gates Scout/Atlas X work while X MCP is down.

Local CLIs

Claude Code (claude -p) and Codex CLI (codex exec) on the shared box for in-lane, one-shot drafts/files only (applied 2026-10-16).

• Never publish, deploy, send, post, push, or spend through them without Ian's yes.
• Never paste secrets, tokens, credentials, or personal IDs into a prompt.
• Heavy or multi-file coding belongs to Hermes on the Mac mini.
• Review CLI output before using it; it is a draft, not a source of truth.
• Reliability checklist: claude --version and codex --version both succeed; failures go into LOOKAHEAD. claude -p may summarize logs into INCIDENTS drafts. See decisions/2026-10-16-cli-rollout-applied.md.
